What is Next Tile?
Next Tile is a free Scrabble GO board solver. Upload a screenshot of your board and it shows the move most likely to win, exactly where to play it, and why.
Is it free?
Yes. No account needed.
Does it read the scores?
Yes, from the top of your screenshot. Check them under Game state, since the win chance depends on them.
Which dictionary does it use?
NWL2023, the word list behind Scrabble GO's English (US) setting. The UK (Collins) setting isn't supported yet.
Does it work with my tile skin?
It's built to read any skin, by shape rather than color. It's new, so check the board it shows before you play.
Does it keep my screenshot?
No. It reads the board and throws the image away.
Can I use it during a game?
It only reads screenshots you take and never connects to Scrabble GO. Whether to use help mid-game is between you and your opponent; many players use it to review games and learn.
Scrabble terms
- Bingo
- Using all seven tiles in one turn. Scrabble adds 50 points.
- Rack
- The seven tiles you're holding.
- Bonus squares
- DL and TL double or triple a letter. DW and TW double or triple the whole word.
- Blank
- A 0-point tile that can be any letter.
- Win chance
- How often this move leads to a win when Next Tile plays the rest of the game out many times.
- Tiles you keep
- What's left on your rack after a move. Good leftovers make your next turn easier.
- Swap
- Trading tiles instead of playing. It scores nothing now but can set up a better turn.
- Going out
- Playing your last tile once the bag is empty. It ends the game, and the tiles left on the other rack count for you.
Privacy
- Your screenshot is never saved. Next Tile reads the board and throws the image away.
- Games are logged anonymously to improve Next Tile: the board, your tiles, the scores and the suggested moves, with a random ID. Never your name, email or screenshot. Logs are deleted after 13 months.
- Google Analytics counts visits. There are no analytics cookies in the EU, the UK or Switzerland.
